My daughter said she received a message from someone stating they were calling about fraud or something that is in my name.

Got a text from this number telling me to call them. I called them back and the line didn't ring and i even sent them a text but it was a landline.

This person is pretending to be someone they are not by using other people's pictures and deceiving many people.

They called, then imediately hung up. Who does this phone number belong to?

It's an "education furthering" company. I guess they have contracts with online schools and try to hook you up with one.

They call almost every day--sometimes as early as 8:00 on a Sunday morning or as late as 9:30 on a week night. I have to turn my phone off every night to avoid being woken up by these pests. I never answer the phone when they call and they do not leave a message. I am on the national no-call list and do not undertand why these people are pesetering me. They are a menace and should be stopped.

Person claiming to be "Ms. Harrison" called reportedly representing a company calling itself "Burns Hoffman." Said call was regarding "prelegal matter." Would not give an address when requested as she said they only "corresponf by phone." Their activity is suspicious, and should immediately be reported to the Federal Trade Commission and your State Attorney General's Office. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OR DISCUSS ANY MATTER W ITH THEM! ACTIVITIES ARE FRAUDULANT!

very annoying. record: "hi, we are calling you to remind you to call us to settle your personal matter. we strongly advise you to call within the next 48 hours" ... I don't owe any money. I know it is a collection agency. now, my brother just collapsed whilst answering their call and I want to sue them. and I we will.

Thank God for this site for information. This is a CON MAN. Of course, he wants money, but happy to create chaos in innocent lives. Ruin marriages, scare young girls, drain bank accounts. And he will!! When will Yahoo do something? And if they do cut him off, he can just get another phone number! He has been using the same number for a long time, but cannot be found!!! I located his computer's IP Address in Africa. The internet affords him prey throughout the entire world. We need to educate everyone we know about this activity. You don't think it can happen to yourself, and then it does and reality strikes.
